Heart-Centered Life Coaching
Prospective clients often ask me, "What's heart-centered life coaching?"
Simply put, heart-centered life coaching can help you to step from your thinking mind down into your heart. You'll learn (i) how to become more aware of -- and to reduce -- the internal self-talk that triggers unproductive thoughts and emotions about yourself, others, and certain life situations and (ii) how to increasingly move in the direction of living a more authentic, heartfelt, and meaningful life.
Some clients have discovered that -- once they've reduced the amount of their internal self-talk -- they're actually quite adventurous, courageous, creative, joyful, and loving. And, these discoveries have allowed them to achieve great things in both their inner and outer worlds. In your life, what internal self-talk is holding you back from experiencing a more authentic, heartfelt, and meaningful life?
I coach individuals who are feeling the need for a change. Ready to start this exploration and move forward on this journey? If so, I'm committed to helping you identify and achieve your life goals. Contact me to see if heart-centered life coaching might be a good fit for your needs.
In 2010, I arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal to embark on a group trek in the Himalayan Mountains. I didn’t know why, but I felt called to do it even though I’d never done anything as physically taxing before in my life. That decision – to ignore my thinking mind and to step more fully into the calling of my heart – profoundly changed the direction of my life. After completing the trek in the Himalayas and returning to the US, I made a second life-changing decision: to pursue graduate studies to become a Heart-Centered Life Coach.
The day I received my degree – after three years of experiential coursework – I embarked on my second adventure. I traveled to rural Japan, where – for one month – I “unplugged” at a Zen temple by not reading, writing, using the internet, or using a cell phone. My heart has carried me through an eclectic mix of experiences and accomplishments. The more I have listened to – and followed the calling of – my heart, the more my heart has guided me to living a more authentic, heartfelt, and meaningful life.
Currently, I’m pursuing a graduate degree in the School of Law at Washington University in St. Louis. My educational and work background includes (i) an M.A. in Spiritual Psychology with an emphasis in Consciousness, Health, and Healing, (ii) an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, and (iii) 20+ years of post-MBA work experience in the transportation, telecommunications, financial services, and real estate sectors.
